HARDWOOD

VCT
Vinyl composition tile is a non-porous material. This makes it a good solution for areas that are susceptible to moisture.

STONE

Different types of stone include terrazzo, marble, granite, and travertine.

upholstery cleaning

Cleaning upholstery is an important part of keeping your fabrics like new. Whether it is your furniture, drapes, or carpet, regular use causes a build-up of dirt and oils.

Rozalado uses the easy spot portable spotting extractor to remove the allergens, bacteria, and toxins from regular use. Using the process of spraying and water-extracting will keep your fabrics smelling good.

It is recommended to make it a habit to vacuum upholstery at least once a week. Professional cleaning is recommended at least once a year.

VCT Floorcare

VCT (Vinyl Composition Tile) is the type of flooring found in most office buildings, schools, clinics etc.

Below are some important VCT floor care tips to consider. Properly maintained VCT flooring will consistently reflect with a brilliant shine and give a clean fresh look to the space.

Strip & Wax

Small dirt particles & dust eventually get ground into waxed floors, and over time floors will begin to yellow from the light. In order to restore your floors to a “like new” shine, they will need to be stripped and waxed. We recommended this be done every 12 months, at a minimum, if traffic is medium to low. For high traffic VCT it is recommended to strip & wax every 4 to 6 months.

Scrub & Finish

When VCT flooring loses its original high gloss looks and appears dull it is time to re-coat. A scrubbing of the tiles will provide optimum appearance and reduce the need for stripping and waxing, saving you time and money!

Buffing & Burnishing

Floor buffing helps maintain the high gloss luster you desire on your floors. This process uses an ultra-high-speed floor machine to renew the floors surface. We recommend this service monthly for medium to low traffic areas, and weekly on high traffic flooring.

VCT Floor Tips

Always mop with a neutral cleaner. Other cleaners will slowly strip away the wax.

Always use clean mops and change mop water often. Mopping with dirty mop water does not get the VCT clean and will add to the wear on the wax.

Always use chair mats! Wheels on a desk chair will not only wear off the wax, but it will eventually scratch into the tile itself. With this kind of damage it will never be able to regain any type of shine.

Newly laid VCT always needs to be cleaned and wax applied. Just because it is brand new does not mean it is protected!

It is very hard to keep floors free from scratches when the VCT is in rooms such as cafeterias, classrooms, bars etc. Any space with chairs that people will be pushing back and forth while sitting will scratch into your wax. These conditions will require scrub & wax and buffing more often to maintain a high gloss appearance.

Carpet Cleaning Process

Preventative maintenance is the least costly yet most important and effective means to protect carpet appearance.

Interim Cleaning

The most effective, cost-efficient, and safest way to maintain incredible carpet appearance is with interim cleaning. The goal of Interim Maintenance is to keep the carpet clean and maintain a consistent appearance level at the lowest possible cost. The primary focus is frequent low-moisture pile lifting and the removal of sticky residues that would otherwise trap soil in the carpet fibers.

Carpet Cleaning Process

01. Vacuum

Frequent vacuuming of high-traffic areas will remove 80-90% of dry soil accumulation. High-filtration vacuum systems have been proven to have longer life cycles and increased effectiveness, while containing dust better during daily vacuuming cycles.

02. Pre-spray

This step is the application of cleaning solutions that are applied to the carpet. The solution needs to soak in and is ready for the next step.

03. Agitate

Carpet agitation evenly distributes the pre-spay and loosens particles so it is easier to extract. This allows every layer of the carpet to get clean from all the dirt and germs that linger around.

04. Water Extract

This level of cleaning should only be performed on an annual basis, except in special cases such as poor scheduling of interim maintenance, flooding, or otherwise extraordinary conditions. This service is performed with one of our professional Extraction machines.
